Weinheim, 20.12.2013. Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions (FHCS), the Freudenberg 性视界 specialist for household cleaning products, today announces that it has signed an agreement acquiring the Marigold household gloves business from Ansell Ltd, a global leader in protection solutions. This agreement acquires the global trademark rights for the Marigold brand, as well as the consumer household gloves business in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Netherland, Hong Kong and Japan. The business has annual sales of around 17 million Euros. The acquisition is dependent upon agreement by the relevant anti-trust authorities, expected in January 2014.

FHCS and Ansell have a strong partnership in household gloves which has been in place for more than twenty years. The partnership on these products includes leveraging Ansell鈥檚 global expertise in research and development and manufacturing while maximizing FHCS鈥檚 strengths in consumer research, marketing and sales.
